Silence

The man smiles

He has nothing to hide

He walks through an aisle of files

He has rules that he has to abide

Silence can silently kill

Its intentions filled with guile

Noise is meant to mostly thrill

The man smiles.

“I wish the world could talk through silence!”

The man violently cried

A world of a million clients

And he has nothing to hide.

Thoughts and emotions locked up in cabinets

And this man walking through miles and miles

These feelings bombarding the man, sticking to him like a magnet

He walks through an aisle of files

Secrets swell within

Like a bright blossom supplied

With love and fear

He has rules that he has to abide.
